How to choose your size
Your numerical pre-pregnancy size is a good guide to use. But, because everybody is unique, we recommend using a tape measurer to get your exact measurements, then using our sizing chart to determine your perfect size.
Fit tips for pants & skirts
Our hip measurement ranges overlap a bit—this allows you to choose your fit. If you prefer a slimmer fitting bottom, choose the smaller size in your range. For a looser fit, get the larger size. For example, if you have a 42” hip and you want a slimmer fit, you’d choose a medium. For a looser fit, you’d want a large.
Early and post-pregnancy
In maternity fashion, this time is called your “transition period.” Your regular clothes may feel too tight, but maternity clothes are too big. This is the time to go for “transitional” pieces. If you’re in your first trimester and are really starting to show, get yourself some maternity pants (based on your regular pre-pregnancy size) and simply fold the waistband over so they fit. Don’t worry—you’ll grow into them before you know it!
